Tapping into a Concept

Tap 42 Craft Kitchen & Bar features modern interpretations of gastropub fare with signature craft cocktails,  an extensive wine list, and more than 42 craft beers to choose from. Tap 42 was among the first concepts in South Florida to combine signature architectural design with a chef-driven menu, extensive craft beer list, and handcrafted beverage program. 

Modern Restaurant Management (MRM) magazine visited with Tap 42's VP of Development Alex Rudolph at the Aventura location just prior to the pandemic. 2020 started with a strong business plan but was crippled due to the pandemic.

"The scenario was initially universal for all restaurants - no operations, renegotiating leases and furloughed employees. As restrictions subsided, delivery and takeout supported some business and luckily their menu fit well this option," he told MRM in a follow-up interview.
