Anchors Away for Famed King’s Wharf Restaurant

Diners won’t be going aboard King’s Wharf restaurant after Saturday, Dec. 17, as the longtime Chicago-area mainstay will helm its final voyage that day. However, regulars, local residents and nautical enthusiasts will have an opportunity to take home some King’s Wharf memories at a charity auction of its signature décor elements.
Located at the Chicago Marriott Lincolnshire Resort and managed by The Bricton Group, the restaurant will be shuttered to make way for a $25-million renovation designed to renew nearly every aspect of the resort. The auction will be held on Sunday, December 18, starting at 2 p.m., with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital.
