Statistics from the National Restaurant Association reveal over 87 percent of operators are likely to hire restaurant staff in 2023, provided they can find qualified applicants. Shockingly, staffing in the restaurant industry remained 3.6 percent below pre-pandemic levels as of the start of 2023, resulting in a staggering 450,000 job openings compared to 2019.
